Bird Board
Broward Warbler & Migrants
Northwest corner of Broward (CLR area of Parkland),
along the Western tree line closer to Lo. Airboat launch.
3 Yellow-throated and 1 Black & White Warblers.
Nob Hill Road area (CLR area of Parkland), in the fields (active construction site during the week) Spotted Sandpiper, Greater Yellowlegs, Brown Headed Cowbird male & female and a possible male Shiny Cowbird. Do have photos but have no experience with Shiny Cowbirds in laymen terms it resembles a male Red-winged Blackbird with no hint of wing markings at all. Looks like the Shiny Cowbird photos people have posted from Sem Chi rice plant in Palm Beach

Plantation Broward - Black & White Warblers July 18.
Broward - Shiny Cowbird male update.
Looks more and more like a Shiny Cowbird (but I have never seen one before), otherwise it is the weirdest RW Blackbird I have ever seen. Hopefully ABA life bird and a Broward bird. Here is the link to photos.

It is a Shiny Cowbird for sure. I get lots of them at my feeders in Homestead. Nice find!
Photo & Thanks for the Bird ID.
Don't find: "Northwest corner of Broward (CLR area of Parkland)" in your Birding Locations, Broward. Directions, please. And what does CLR stand for?
Thanks.
CLR= County Line Road (now called Hillsboro)
Directions to the general area and the western tree line are in the July 10nth posting.
Thanks, Steve. Always interested in new places to bird in Broward County.
