Broward Migration

Last week there were several Prairie Warblers and Spotted Sandpipers passing through Plantation Preserve.
Today in the NW Corner of Broward (CLR- tree line) we had 2 Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, 3 Prairie Warblers, 3 Yellow-throated Warblers, 4 American Redstarts, 1 Common Yellowthroat and 2 Eastern Kingbirds. There were no shorebirds unlike last year. Most likely due to loss of habitat in the construction areas and unlike last year the farm land is not flooded this year.
