Every winter in my backyard I have visits from 3-4 pairs of Painted bunting for the last at least 10 years and a single female green hummingbird which has returned for 15 years.
I live in the Cooper City area in Broward County FL

We were excited to see a beautiful bald eagle circling over our backyard in east Parkland just before noon today. It was probably in its early 5th year as there was still some mottling in the wings. A pair of ospreys was harassing it until it soared higher and we lost it in the sun as it appeared to be headed southeast --probably towards the landfill as we used to have frequent sightings in Coconut Creek before a hurricane destroyed the canopy of their favored roosting spot.
Saw a male Spotted Oriole in our bougainvillea 02.03.2017 9am
Near Green Bower Cemetary, Fort Lauderdale I have a few photos not sure how to post.
Yesterday. we saw a red-headed woodpecker in the backyard.
It was on an overhead wire, cleaning it's feathers.
It stayed about 5 minutes before flying down to the treetops
We live near the Hilton on the beach in Ft. Lauderdale
