Nesting pair of American Bald Eagles on southern island at lake north of Miller Road and east of Palmetto Expressway(826). Look for the tall dead pine tree on the center of the south island. Best viewing is on north side of lake.

My church is very near there, and I can definitely use that for Bird-A-Day. Is there a good way to get to the north side of the lake without getting on the Palmetto Expwy? Maybe off 72 Ave?
Take 72 ave to 48 street, head west to 1st curve and then 2nd curve(50th terr). Go behind the two story office building on left. The island is due south from that vantage point. Lots of other birds also.
