Breakers Hotel- Parrots!
While looking for a yellow-crowned parrot reported previously, My husband and I came across 6! lilac-crowned parrots as well!
If someone can teach me how to upload photos, we have a couple great specimens for the group.
Parrots were seen this morning about 1015 on Cocoanut (that's how they spell it) Lane. This is the feeder road that is opposite Palm Lane that cuts through the golf course from east to west off S. County. This is not the road that marks the border of the course named Cocoanut Row. They were VERY vocal and competed with the crows for loudest birds. The yellow-crowned hangs with the lilac.

Susan, you can also cut and paste the URL to your eBird checklist, like this: http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S35176429
If you only want to show the photo, rather than the entire checklist, open the photo in another window, then copy and paste the url, like this: https://download.ams.birds.cornell.edu/api/v1/asset/51152871/large?__hstc=60209138.870506d674cb756493e0982166816bfe.1466610442958.1489443731856.1489542141510.522&__hssc=60209138.6.1489542141510&__hsfp=2399557710
Hi Susan,
I went out today to check out this population. Indeed I found the yellow-crowned and the Lilac-crowned; however, im convinced there were also a handful of red-crowned parrots present.
I saw 8 or 9 parrots, 1 distinctly yellow and 3 distinctly lilac. Is it possible some of the lilac you noted were red, too? The lighting for me was pretty poor given the time of day.
Correction from above post: 12-13 parrots, 1 yellow, 6 lilac, and 5-6 red, from my count.
