Bobwhites in Coconut Grove

After visiting Frog Pond many, many times searching for Bobwhites (always hearing them, never seeing one) I saw three of them today munching on a brush on a residential street in Coconut Grove. I live in the Grove and have never seen this. Are they escaped from someone? Is this normal? I was able to stand 10 feet from them and take pictures.

Bobwhites have been reported in recent months in the Coconut Grove area. Almost certainly, they are escapees.
I won't count it..will wait for freebird... :)
Not escapees, I would call it freed bird.
