Bird digiscoping opportunity Thursday at Biscayne National Park
Late notice, but as part of the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service, on Thursday morning Biscayne National Park is having a special sunrise photography celebration, and it will include a spotting scope with digiscope adapters for a variety of cellphones and cellphone covers in case we see some birds perched on the shoreline or spoil islands. Here are the details, and we hope to see you there!

Where: Anywhere inside Biscayne National Park or meet at the Dante Fascell Visitor Center porch to chat with a ranger.
Be part of the morning that will mark our 100th anniversary! Whether you’re a professional or an amateur photographer, we invite you to come and capture the special beauty of the park at sunrise. Our goal is 100 photos to mark the beginning of the next hundred years so bring your camera, and if you don’t have a camera, we will have a few on hand to lend. See you there!
Loaner cameras available at the Dante Fascell Visitor Center. First come, first served. Limited quantities.
