First the birds to remain on topic ..Gray Kingbirds nesting . Herd a Black-whiskered Vireo softly singing the other day .Not the loud ringing song but quiet .
Also Bryan and one other ranger alerted me to an Amethyst Hairstreak Butterfly !!! Bryan has some great photos . I went and got my camera and have some superb images . Sorry to drift off topic but it is a notable sighting .
