Here is a photo and description of a unilaterally-symmetrical gynandromorph Gypsy Moth I found and collected back in 1992.

Specimens are probably more common than people realize since they can be very difficult to detect.

Spellcheck turned "bilaterally" to "unilaterally" above. It is of course bilateral.
