Audubon First Edition Royal Octavo Print Exhibit & Sale through December @TropicalAudubon

Members of the public and special guests are invited to view a rare and extensive private collection of John James Audubon First Edition Royal Octavo hand-colored prints, which are also being offered for purchase. The exhibit and sale will open on the evenings of October 11 & 12 at Tropical Audubon Society's landmark 1932 Doc Thomas House headquarters (5530 Sunset Drive, Miami, 33143); viewings thereafter are by appointment only.
A handsome assemblage of framed Octavos will grace the red cypress-paneled walls of the historically significant frame vernacular cottage. Attendees will also be able to view an archival album of unframed prints showcased for sale. Libations will be offered at the donation Bird Bar.
John James Audubon devotees can take home their own piece of Audubon history by making a purchase while the show hangs through December (based on availability). Thirty percent of the sale's proceeds will directly benefit Tropical Audubon Society and help support its conservation Mission.
Pre-Sale by Appointment: Thursday, Oct 11, 6-8pm
