The groove-billed ani, tropical and western kingbird, several scissor-tailed flycatchers, brown-crested flycatcher, 4+ painted buntings, Lincoln’s and grasshopper sparrow, tricolored munia, glossy ibis, 6+ ground doves, and many others were at lucky hammock today seen at different times during the day. The kingbirds and scissors were across the road from the lot, the brown crested and ani were in the trees next to the lot, the sparrows, maunia and buntings were just to the left of the hammock in the reeds.
