When do white pelicans leave South Florida? Saw a pair at the Dump Marsh yesterday, May 25th.

They are an uncommon winter visitor, rarely seen in South Florida except in places like Snake Bight where they can be found in the hundreds. But, I have seen them throughout the year, included a few in June at the CEMEX lake along US-1 on the 18-mile stretch. They used to turn up now and then at odd times at Cutler Wetlands. The two you saw may not even leave.
Saw a single white pelican yesterday at Green Cay wetlands in Palm Beach County.
