American Redstart and Purple Finch

Hello, We are pretty avid backyard birders. Just this week after hurricane Michael we have a female purple finch gouging on a seed feeder, and an American Redstart in our large oak tree. Never seen these before. Also our menagerie of painted buntings just showed up. Are these normal for Broward?

Your finch is much more likely a House Finch. American Redstarts are very common migrants in south Florida.
