With things being relatively slow, I thought a review of a product I just tried out might be of interest to some. It is a thermal imaging camera, and I had hoped it might be useful in finding warm, but hidden birds. It isn't.

I apologise for being slightly off topic but I read the review and it would seem that the temperature differential (everything is warm in Fl.} between surroundings and subject proved problematic. I just saw some thermal imaging of Am. Woodcock peenting and skydance filmed on a cool evening recently outside of Ithaca N.Y. . Posted on Cayuga Birds . Not great clarity but the bird was Clearly warmer than the surroundings...Worth checking out . Also , not much at Birch the other day {3/31} ..
