I was surprised to see the above bird at a feeder early this morning. It has been here all day and appears healthy. I have never seen one in my yard June through September. I took multiple photos.

The P. Bunting is still here--feeding, bathing and singing---so interesting!
I'm jealous, Jeanette!
I enjoy having it--It just seems so weird having one this time of year. Usually these birds come to the feeders together, as a small group--but of course this one is on its own. I am wondering if it will head north or just stay here. I will soon find out.
