A.D. Barnes (10/3): Warbler Bonanza

High migrant diversity at A.D. Barnes Park this morning. The many fruiting fig trees attracted lots of good birds. I tallied 19 different warbler species throughout the park.

Highlights included: Golden-winged, Blackburnian, Swainson's, Tennessee, Chestnut-sided and Magnolia Warbler, Scarlet and Summer Tanager, Baltimore Oriole, Acadian Flycatcher, Swainson's Thrush and Veery. The Golden-winged was seen by the recreational buildings.

A search this morning between 7:30 and 8:20am did not produce any Golden-winged Warblers for me.

Which ones are the recreational buildings?

The area in front of the cabins. This area is east of the waterfall.
