Bird Board

Bird Board Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

How do I post photos on the Bird Board?

Although the TAS Bird Board is not a photo site, we do allow photos that illustrate a sighting. If there's no report with the photo or photo link it will likely be deleted. If you have a number of photos illustrating your post, please put them on a separate web page and use a link.

To post a photo, you must first place the photo on a web page. You can use a service such as photobucket or flickr, or your internet account may already include a web page.

Sites like flickr which normally show a web page containing the photo rather than the bare photo are best posted as a link, not a photo. Indeed, flickr will not permit you to include your photo in your post.

Can I put html tags anywhere in my posts?

You can use links and image tags in your posts.

Why didn't my post show up?

Your post most likely did not show up because it was automatically submitted for review.
